I’m looking to see if anyone has ideas to incorporate equitable practices in urban public school settings. I’ve read and facilitated a book study based on the book, For White Folks Who Teach in the Hood, by Dr. Christopher Emdin. Teachers found the concepts helpful in their classroom. Does anyone have ideas you can share that help disadvantaged students achieve at a higher level?

Hey Ruth! I agree with Kimberly about Gholdy. She is a great resource!

Also, we continue to roll out the NEW site to members, many of our speakers/presenters from our learning sessions on Equity will be entering the platform. So you will be able to interact and discuss directly with them also as we continue to add more sessions in that category as well!
